Q: What is ReCART?
ReCART (Rewards for Collecting All Recyclables Together) is a recycling pilot program involving 10,000 households from around the City of Atlanta. The program will help promote proper recycling habits, boost recycling participation, reduce the amount of recyclables being sent to area landfills and save taxpayer money. Household will earn RecycleBank Reward Points in response to recycling efforts (Rewards). The program will continue in accordance with the citys standards for Single Stream Recycling, putting all recyclables into one CART, instead of separating the recyclables into many different containers. (Collecting All Recyclables Together) A new electronically tagged 95 gallon blue recycling CART will be delivered to program participants. The CART is essential to the pilot program.
